Change the batteries at least once a year, or sooner if the detector chirps. Many experts recommend changing them when you change your clocks for daylight saving time. Some newer detectors have 10-year sealed batteries that never need replacing. - Can I use a space heater in a bathroom?
Only if the space heater is specifically rated for bathroom use and you follow safety precautions. Most standard space heaters are not safe for bathrooms due to moisture and electrical shock risks. Look for a heater with a GFCI plug and a UL rating for damp locations.
